Spent the whole night in absolute silence at lost lake in the Uinta mountains watching the milky way roll across the horizon. This was taken just after the sun had gone down and the sky was still slightly blue.

My family friends invited me to come with them to Lost Lake near Mt. Hood for a weekend. I decided to take my camera with me and find any shots I thought were cool. As the day was dying down, everyone went to bed and I sat there into the morning hours watching the flames wave back and forth with the breeze. I love this shot as it makes you feel like you are in the warm embrace of the fire, filled with energy.
